Painted during a backdrop of a significant war taking place in the world, an abstracted missile shape can be seen along with long rectangular shapes that appear to be falling, representing collapsing buildings.
Several shades of red denote bloodshed and the green-brown earthy tones represent the pillaged land. The predominant colour used throughout is blue to reflect sadness but there are base layers of brighter shades underneath which convey underlying hope of those who suffered heavy losses as a result of war, very much in line with the message conveyed by the artist in some of the darker paintings, offering glimmers of hope.
