A Haunted Lakeland

Composed with multiple analogous shades of blue, blue-green and touches of green as well as complementary yellow and a hint of gold. Techniques used to create a haunting effect include using transparent layering and drips of colour with Payne’s Grey added in to create an eerie atmosphere. The colour palette used as well as the compositional value aims to visually transport the viewer to being outdoors on a cold, misty lake at twilight shrouded by fog but in an abstract format.
