Joy of Life

Vibrant acrylic inks swiped onto canvas in a convoluted fashion depicting the pathways of life. Juicy colours are used to convey a sense of joy, overlaid with a shimmery transparent gold touch that is more apparent at certain angles reflecting the adage “all that glitters is not gold” and as a representation of the artists personal life experiences where they felt that they may be perceived as living an idyllic life on some fronts but the reality is compounded by tumultuous life events, nevertheless an optimistic approach is chosen.
